I've come to realize, Marie cannot get over Sam, if you look into this work of art, you come to realise, Sam isn't here. Sam is only a figment of Marie's imagination. Yes we first play as Sam, but the final ending, it gives sort of a "oh, it was never real" type of vibe. The game overall presents grief and being unable to get over someone very well "I've moved on" was clearly an attempt from Marie to will Sam away, and with Sam stating it was only a year, that may be seen as Marie being unable to accept it's been that long. The text in red, it seems Marie cannot remember Sam very well, unable to remember just how he would act. Another viewpoint of this, Sam is forever stuck in this world. The red text could show he's losing himself, and his unhealthy obsession with Marie could show that he's trying to cling onto his past. I realized, Marie, she was never alive while staying with Sam, showing either, Sam is like a parasite, slowly killing Marie, or, he's Marie's pillar, that ends up breaking. Now this is an extremely lengthened way of me saying, god this game was harsh, but in a good way. Honestly, definitely one of the best games I've played
Im confused cause I double click on the game and it seems like its going to open but then it never opens does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Im on mac and the same thing happened when I tried playing Snow White Ashes???
Suuuper good visual novel. Better than most. Great art. Unique style. Excellent writing in general, though if you took a shot every time the word "slick" is used you'd die lol.
I think it was one of the best I've encountered so far. All three endings deserve to be done, although I have poor English, I managed to understand perfectly!!
damnnnnn.......i honestly feel kinda bad for marie. it's all because of sam's selfishness that she can't truly move on. i love the era this is set in and i am so engaged in the story
I've played through all three endings a dozen times by now. It's so well-written, the artwork is amazing, and the voice acting is the icing on the cake.
Absolutely enraptured by this game!! Instantly added to my list of games to play on rainy/winter evenings. The absolute perfect mix of melancholy and dread I felt after the third ending is gonna be in my mind for awhile(positively!).
Found this after finishing the demo to Snow White Ashes... have to say I am just as pleasantly surprised with this vn. Not sure how you come up with such tragic and romantic ideas, but your art and story is truly special. Also love how Sam and Marie remind me of Gabriel and Selene lol.

i have kept seeing the game while scrolling and i finally decided to play.. just.. wow.. the game and art is absolutely amazing! i was confused at first how there is 3 endings but then after second run it made sense.. the game is absolutely beautifully done and just amazing, i knew i would suffer but it was all worth it.
I have been putting off playing this because i knew it'd be suffering but wow this game is so good and well worth the tears. Keep up the beautiful work!

Such a 'Annabel Lee' type of story, and it also gave me some hints of 'The Tell-Tale Heart' by Edgar, which is very ravishing. A really unique and great game. The art, music, voice, etc. which was RAVISHING!
So tragic and sad, but still beautiful! I love the music so much... And the art, and the voices! I love everything about it. It's short, but sweet. Thank you for sharing with us.

Its very short not that many choices but very nice game that adds gothic perfectly to it. Cant wait to play more games by this creator
