Thank you! I'm currently still writing the script and planning for another update this year; the earliest I think I can get one out will probably be in the summer.
The game itself is ethereal. The music is well thought out, perfect for its atmosphere, and the pauses in between had me pausing for a few moments before moving on - from excitement and shock. If I had to count how many times I gasped (yes, I was really invested) throughout my gameplay, I would say quite a few times! It's amazing that the pieces are made by you, it's alluring. I'm kinda hoping for a release of it on an audio platform (if you want to, of course!!).
The storyline is fascinating, especially noting how even just a few "insignificant" choices affect the reactions and actions of the characters. Perhaps it'll make more sense once we know more.
I was honestly saddened when I realized that I'd reached the end since I wanted more! But of course, I understand that it's still currentlya demo.
Honestly, the whole time, it had me clutching my laptop and opening a Notes app, taking down even the littlest details despite the possibility of said details being...well not exactly as it's told , and just makes me itch to write about them. (Would you be fine with that? I just am so invested, they're my new hyperfixation. Hehe.)
Art Style-wise, I have no complaints and with so many compliments to share. I hope you know how gorgeous your art is. It's beautiful, it's not grand however, it is elegant and does not conflict with the atmosphere that you have created in line with the storyline.
All the intricate details within their visual design had me distracted a few times because I kept on admiring them. The backgrounds fascinated me as well, there were a few times when I just decided to screenshot this frame or that frame (without characters and such) because I thought it'd look pretty as a wallpaper.
In terms of the menu, everything is fine and the performance is smooth. The default font size is rather small, and at times, the size does seem appropriate for some parts of the story. But for the rest of the story, I'm rather thankful that we can change the font size using the accessibility menu (Shift+A) provided. It's hard to read at times (Forgive this one, my poor eyesight could only handle so much. Definitely not the best if ever I had to escape from a hunter...).
Well, that's everything that I think I have to share for now, sorry if I made it rather long, I just wanted to let it all out especially since I'm typing this all down after I just played the game. You did amazing, like serious- okay, I won't ramble...
Thank you so much for such an experience, ENDYSIS! I hope to see more! - Nyx :33
Hi Nyx! Thank you so much for leaving your thoughts in detail, I'm glad that you had an overall good experience with it! And yes, absolutely, seeing fan works/writing/pieces inspired by my games makes my day, so go wild!
Thank you for pointing out the font size; testing it on smaller screens like a laptop honestly slipped my mind (whoops), but I'm glad you were able to navigate to the menu! ^^;
This is such a beautiful game, the art, the music, the storyline, all of it! I truly can't wait to see where the story goes from here! I'm very excited to see the full game when it's ready to bloom!
Guys, I don't speak English and so I couldn't understand the story very well but I still loved this game, can you explain to me, did it kill me in the end? I'm confused... :P
Hello, I noticed the standalone versions don’t appear on the download list on the itch app. You should tag them for Windows, Linux, macOS. For now, I will download them manually via the Download button.
Loved this! I replayed this game like 4 times since I found it. Great writing, great dialogue, great atmosphere. Can't wait for the full version, keep it up
This was a very atmospheric work! The music tracks went very well with the feel of the artstyle! Cold, monochromatic, the entry felt very winter-like. I appreciated the references to both Snow-White (MC fitting description a T and "silver-haired man" to avoid spoilers being snow-like) and Little Red Riding Hood (MC's outfit + presence of wolves and the whole prey/predator dynamic in the writing), and how it started setting up the relationship between the two characters. Their discussion was very melancholic, and the ending left me curious about the rest of the story! Congrats on the demo!
What a lovely piece! I adore the beautiful textures in your art and UI. The prose and especially the line about names like ribbons was absolutely stunning. Hope we get to see where the story leads!
very beautiful! i love the artstyle, the music, the atmostphere, and overall the everything! the story is very intriguing. the language is beautiful, and the singing as well. it pulls everything together perfectly. im excited for the release of the full game! i can't wait to know more about the story of these two! i will check out your other games while i wait, and i am very excited to do so!
Ah, this is so so so good. You can truly tell when someone has a cohesive vision in their mind, and the result is something so complete and polished (even as a demo!). Gorgeous art, gorgeous prose, gorgeous dialogue - and the variants were a delight to get through. Variant 2b may be my favourite one, but they all engrossed me. I would absolutely be interested in a completed version, so I am looking forward to more, and will be trying your backlog of games as well!
Thank you so much for the kind comment, and for playing through all the different options! I really hope that the full version is as enjoyable when I'm able to complete it!
Gorgeous. The character portraits are so reminiscent of paintings it just makes me feel nostalgic simply looking at YOUR portrait in the corner while playing. The art + music combined just feel so meditative and expressive.
The main BGM piece is so effective at setting the tone, it's gentle and melancholic and feels lonely. Really puts you in the space of the cold, cold middle of nowhere. And I LOVE that the singing is actually represented in-game, it's so lovely!
Great demo! I love your artstyle; the character designs are beautiful and the soundtrack is soothing. I'm really excited to playthrough the full game, the demo ends on a nice cliffhanger and really leaves me with so many questions.
Just so people know this is the same person who didn't respect the authors wishes from "Where winter crows go and still uploaded a "No commentary" video.
This is such a lovely demo! The art , the language and the music are very beautiful, the dialogues feel natural, and the ending makes me want to see more.
I haven't seen all the variants yet but I definitely will go back and play more. I can't wait to see the full story! Kudos to you!

Another experience that I enjoyed. I look forward to the full release!
Thanks for playing another one of my projects! ^^
This was so lovely, not to rush or anything, but I'm wondering if more is coming out this year. The music, the writing is amazing.

Beautiful story. I love how the story is written like a poem and the drawing are nice as well.
Thank you so much for playing!
The drawings are so wonderful and the music really touched me. ♡
I can't wait for more.
I really hope you will continue working on this game.
Thank you! I am still working on it, but slowly! :')

Thank you so much for playing it, and for hosting the jam! I'm so grateful for the excuse to bring this project to life haha
Glad to have brought the excuse then, this project really deserved seeing the light!

I like the music, art and overall layout. I'd be down to see or know more about the cast of characters. Very lovely little demo. <3
