This is the first time a VN on Itch.io moved me enough to leave a comment. What did you PUT in this to make it so overbearingly SAD ToT I cried three times while playing the extended demo.
The heartache and the pain I felt when Gabriel came back to life, only to not recognize his wife and believe she was dead was agonizing, I'm a big fan of the concept of recognizing someone in any lifetime and universe, and after a certain point I couldn't help but put myself and my beloved in Selene's and Gabriel's place. Even after all that happened, even if they despised me like Gabriel despise Selene, I'd still love them with my heart and soul.
I cannot make the choice to burn Gabriel's lyre and break something he made with such love for the life of me, that'd be way too cruel, you did an excellent job in making the player grow so empathetic of those characters.
I cannot wait to see what you cook for us next, I'm pretty sure I'll cry again.

AAAAAAAAH!! Y-you've KILLED me! I've been playing this for hours straight, all teary. I'm heartbroken at the way the story unfolds, and the way you masterfully wrote the main character's thoughts, full of desperation and anguish, almost to the point of insanity.
I kept wondering just what was crossing the hunter's mind. I felt as hopeless as the MC did and understood her pain well, to the point that I picked some regrettable choices on my first playthrough (something related to a lyre) because I thought that they suited the tragic state in which her mind was, even if they'd break my heart further and were hard for me to stomach.
Your characters are plain fascinating. So well written, so alive in their eternal sorrow that they can cut you through the screen. To say I love the way you write is an understatement.
I've gotten the three extra scenes and oh my god ;;;;. I'm completely and utterly IN LOVE. They're so satisfying, and moved me to tears again from the very first sentence, when I realised what they were about (and with that music, on top of everything...). I love the answers (and new questions) that they throw. I think it was a genius idea to add them.
AND THAT FINAL TWIST. Perfect, like everything else! SDFSDF Please, continue making this masterpiece, I really need to see what happens next, and I need to see more of these characters... I wonder if they could ever find happiness, if only for a single second. The longing is so real!

The lyre scene was one of the most heartbreaking things I've ever written, and I wondered if anyone would bring themselves to pick that choice haha. I'll take it as a compliment that the writing made you feel empathetic to the MC that it felt right, though painful, to pick it. ;u;
The lyre scene was so good. How something so small could have so much meaning, and how such a gesture could be so gut-wrenching. To me it felt like stabbing his humanity and all that was still beautiful in him; I was destroyed during that scene. But the MC seemed to be in a spiral of hateful self-harm, so... I felt that picking the kinder option would have been me, not her, so I tried to RP her broken heart accordinly.
Aah, I'm fangirling again. Sorry, I just love this game so much hahaha. I wish my English was better so that I could express my thoughts more properly. Anyway, thank you again and keep up the great job! The stories you make are the kind that stay with you after you finish playing.
HOLY SHIT what a cliffhanger of an ending. Just finished the extended demo and holy shit. Just like what I commented last time, I was so immersed in the storytelling I hardly noticed time passed by I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!
Selene and Gabriel have such an interesting dynamic and its interesting to see the difference of how they interact from the past and the present. Right now, they're like an old bickering married couple (which--I mean, they technically are lol)
But anyway, I'm afraid I have nothing more to say just that I love love love this. I've been captivated with Selene's and Gabriel's characterizations and I can't wait to see more of them. I'm always a sucker for angst and dark romance and this game is just chef's kiss.
I feel like our MC is definitely one of the first female protagonists I've come across as of late that I find myself really liking. Especially since initially I had been very indifferent towards her but the more I kept learning about her the more taken I was. And what I especially love is her characterization. how through out the backstory her thoughts seem to slowly descend into this sort of desperate possessiveness. like the jealousy, the sort of indignation, the hurt are all written so wonderfully.
In a sense I can definitely feel the factor that she is not a being similar to us, at least in her thinking and her emotions while she also simultaneously feels so flawed in such a delightfully human way. The plot twists were also quite unexpected. Even though I already had an inkling she was well, not as she appeared from the first demo, I was still quite surprised by the more her and Gabriel's story that unraveled. And how it all managed to link back to the first demo of this game I played. Of course, this is all not too much of a surprise given how great of a writer you are. I'm really excited to learn more about this story, especially given that ending. And i'm especially excited to learn more about Gabriel since after this demo I've honestly felt like I've learned so much yet so little and it makes me intrigued to see what sort of character he'll turn out to be.
Anyways sorry for ranting, I just really love this game so far.

This is my first time commenting, but I got so say wow! I played the original demo a couple of months ago and already loved that, but this was next level. I absolutely adore your beautiful art style, the music fits the melancholy tone so well, loved the interesting dynamic between the MC and ML and how it changes in subtle ways depending on your choices, the bonus stories added even more complexity to their dynamic, and that cliff hanger at the end has me on the edge of my seat and I can't wait for the full release of the game!

OH MY GOD, THAT WAS AMAZING!!! Your writing is so beautiful that I literally started crying at some point. And the art is just gorgeous?! All of the CGs, sprites, and backgrounds are like literal portraits! I love the storyline of everything and the backstory! THE BACKSTORY. I'm definitely going to be replaying the extended demo to see the other choices and psycho-analyzing and overthinking every little detail. Or I'll just be sitting there listening to the OST.
