Was scrolling around for something new to play and the gothic aesthetics here caught my eye and just, woww. This visuals and the art and the music all come together to make some kind of haunting beauty of a game and I love it. Hugs and kisses!
i am completely enamored with this one! it caught me completely off guard with both endings, it was both sad and beautiful. this game feels very haunting, like a memory that'll be with you forever. the art for both endings, especially Marie's, is both uncanny and alluring, as well as the story. i loved this one, and i look forward to future projects and releases!
I saw your illustrations on twitter a while ago, which made me really interested in checking this out, but I only sat down and got around to it today. This was such a fantastic experience. As others have mentioned, I definitely could feel some House in Fata Morgana influence (one of my favorite visual novels ever, so a very good thing) - especially with the sound design choices. The music is incredibly effective, and the music/sound design/visuals/UI are all so cohesive.
Really impressed by your work and I will definitely be following to check out future projects from you.
This reminds me of The House in Fata Morgana in terms of atmosphere, background music and sentiments evoked... very beautiful and haunting. I really love this game, please make more! Absolutely wonderful.
The visual novel, while simple in play-through and story telling, is one that is absolutely beautiful. It takes a simple concept and puts you through a whirlwind of emotions as the truth gradually gets revealed. The art style is lovely and the two endings are ones that fit the story that was set up perfectly - There is no right or wrong way of ending it. It's a matter of how the player (the character) chooses to handle their grief. It only took me maybe 10 minutes, if that, to read through and play but it was well worth it. This visual novel was one I played and am keeping in my collection so I can enjoy it again. A wonderful way of doing a gothic style visual novel.
Amaizing game! The artwork was gorgeous and the music was beautiful! I absolutely loved the overall vibe carried throughout the story and really liked the sound effects played while readding. ABSOLUTLY LOVED IT <3 thank you for making this awesome game :)
Really enjoyed this. The music and language is lovely, I really enjoy the overall tone carried throughout your writing. Descriptive, haunting, yearning. I think more than the shadow being slowly pulled from Sam, what I liked most was the haunting recollection of how it once was - both with Sam and Marie and memories of family long gone. Very haunting.
will reply to this comment later for post game commentary!!! first impressions tho: "If only lifting your brush didn't fill your fingertips with agony." makes it sound like the mc has arthritis and i think thats funny
